The restaurant with wine cellar Origini is located at the old Ghitello Mill, at the gates of the Parco delle Gole della Breggia.
In direct collaboration with the Park, the Sala del Frantoio and the Sala del Loggiato can be rented to our clients depending on their requests and needs (more details below on this page).
Located in the heart of the Mendrisiotto, the Parco delle Gole della Breggia is an extraordinary natural oasis that embraces the course of the Breggia River, offering a journey through the geological, cultural, and natural history of the region. This park, the first geopark in Switzerland, is a treasure of biodiversity and an open book on the history of the Earth, thanks to the presence of rocks that tell over 200 million years of evolution.

Sala del Frantoio
The room is enhanced by the ancient olive mill, where the hydraulic mechanisms used to operate the stone wheel are still visible. It is the ideal space for meetings, exhibitions, conferences, as well as dinners and parties.
Dimensions: 55 m²
Capacity: 45 – 55 people
Equipment: tables, chairs, audiovisual and projection equipment, disabled access, and WI-FI.
Services: Regular cleaning service (1 hour) is included in the price. Extraordinary cleaning, if necessary, will be charged separately. We have special agreements with local restaurants and grotti, and we will gladly provide you with a list of our partners who can assist you in organizing catering and refreshment services.

Sala del Loggiato
The room is located inside the mill and is an ideal venue for meetings and symposia. It is served by a small internal kitchen for refreshments and aperitifs.
Dimensions: 35 m²
Capacity: 15 – 20 people
Equipment: tables, chairs, audiovisual and projection equipment, WI-FI.
Services: Regular cleaning service (1 hour) is included in the price. Extraordinary cleaning, if necessary, will be charged separately. We have special agreements with local restaurants and grotti, and we will gladly provide you with a list of our partners who can assist you in organizing catering and refreshment services.
